PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device in which reliability is enhanced by suppressing temperature rise due to operation of the protective function of a power semiconductor element. SOLUTION: The electronic device comprises a load 1, a power semiconductor element 2 for driving the load, a circuit 3 for sensing the temperature of the power semiconductor element, a circuit 4 for bringing the power semiconductor element into interrupted state based on the detection results of the temperature detecting circuit, and a circuit 5 for detecting the state of the load. When the load state detecting circuit detects short circuit state of the load, a switch element 209 connected with a diode 201 among a plurality of diodes 201-206 in the temperature detecting circuit is conducted and the set detection temperature is lowered. |
