PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode terminal material capable of suppressing a contact failure caused by impact and like. SOLUTION: The electrode terminal material is provided which comprises a contact surface that contacts an external terminal for electrical continuity with it. The electrode terminal material comprises nickel of purity 98% or more while a surface roughness Ra of the contact surface being 0.12μm or less. At least a part of the contact surface is plated with what comprises gold as a main component, with thickness 0.1-5μm.
