PURPOSE: Provided is a mark for the identification using genetic information. The mark is represented by a barcode which is numerated genetic information and thus is easily and simply read by conventional barcode reader, scanner and magnetic reader. CONSTITUTION: The mark for the identification consists of the number which represents the repeat frequency of each gene locus according to the arrangement of short tandem repeat(STR) locus. Particularly, the mark for the identification is prepared by sequencing mitochondrial DNA; corresponding at least one digit of a number to every single base; and representing corresponded numbers as barcode.
