PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a single phase composition of LiFePO4 carbon complex and achieve an excellent battery property. SOLUTION: When a positive electrode active material is manufactured, a combined material of compounds expressed by formula LixFePO4 (X is more than 0 to 1.) is mixed, processed by milling and baking, and a carbon material is added at any point in the processing. The material combined with LixFePO4 uses Li3PO4 and Fe3(PO4)2 or its hydrate Fe3(PO4)2.nH2O. (n is hydration number.) when the baked material is exposed to the air, a temperature of the baked material is 305 deg.C or less. |
