TIE-UP SELLING METHOD FOR RICE AND RICE COOKER USING INTERNET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tie-up selling method for rice and a rice cooker by using the Internet so as to attain the development of a new sales channel between a rice supplier and a rice cooker supplier and the promotion of the sales. SOLUTION: A home page is set-up on a WWW server in cooperation between the rice supplier and the rice cooker supplier and rice and the rice cooker is related each other to be presented on the home page. A consumer performs access to the home page (step #101) and performs the purchase processing of rice and/or the rice cooker (step #103). An optimum rice cooking condition is presented on the home page together with rice and the rice cooker (step #105) and is periodically updated based on information from a producer. Besides, a download possible program module is provided on the home page (step #106-110) when the rice cooking program of a microprocessor built-in the rice cooker is required to be updated for changing the rice cooking condition.
