PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield case which has no need of any special fastener component for mounting the shield case and possibly widens the mounting area on a printed wiring board. SOLUTION: The shield case 1 comprises a cover 5 with claws 11 corresponding to through-holes 9 of a printed wiring board 3 and a case body 7 having beads 13 engaged with the claws 11. The claws 11 are inserted into the through- holes 9 of the printed wiring board 3 and engaged with the beads 13 of the body 7, thereby mounting the cover 5 on the body 7 through the claws 11. Tongues 41 may be provided on the tops of the beads 13 for use as a guide for inserting the claws 11.
