PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very small rotary solenoid which is simple in structure and equipped with a stopper which determines the angle of rotation of a movable piece. SOLUTION: An even number of bobbins wound with coils are inserted into the legs of a frame, and a movable piece composed of a permanent magnet, a yoke, and a shaft is capable of rotating freely in a rotary solenoid, where a projection is provided to each of the bobbins so as to determine the angle of rotation of the movable piece.
