PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying system, capable of incorporating a plurality of address selecting functions in a form for utilizing the conventional user interface, a copy managing apparatus, a method for designating a copying operation and a storage medium. SOLUTION: A scanner has a control means 1 for determing the function selecting mode for designating a function, usable in a printer or an address selecting mode for designating outputting from any printer. When the mode is function selection mode, the means 1 displays a function list on a display means 13, detects the address having no function selected from the list, deletes the detected address from the list, displays the list on the means 13 to expedite a desired address selection. When the mode is the address selection mode, the means 1 displays the list on the means 13, detects the function impossible to the used at the selected address from the list, deletes the detected function from the list, displays the list on the means 13, and expedites the desired function selection. |
