SYSTEM HANDLING REAL TIME 3 DIMENSIONAL VIRTUAL IMAGES AND GENERATING SOUNDS

摘要

PURPOSE: Provided is a system handling the real time 3 dimensional virtual reality and generating sounds which are one of the factors influencing the trainees to be indulged in the real time 3 dimensional virtual reality simulator for their successful training. The system is used in the simulation training of the industrial cranes available in the harbor or at the construction site. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises: a hardware part consisting of the real time picture treatment and generation of sounds according to the input operation data by the trainee of the virtual reality simulator; and the software part which handles the 3 dimensional picture data base and the sound data base in the real time.
