PURPOSE: A base station in an advanced mobile network providing communication lines with a LAN(Local Area Network) using a packet router is provided to use each base station's redundant data communication lines in an advanced mobile network, to which an IMT-2000 asynchronous system is applied, as communication lines with a LAN installed near to a place or a building at which an associated base station is installed. CONSTITUTION: An advanced mobile network(100), to which an IMT-2000 asynchronous system is applied, is comprised of a plurality of mobile terminals(101,102), a base station(110), and a base station controller(12). The base station(110) provides its redundant communication lines as communication lines with a LAN(50) installed neighboring to the base station(110). The LAN(500), transmitting and receiving multimedia data including video data and audio data, is composed of a packet router(51), an Ethernet(52), and a plurality of hubs(501-503). The packet router(51) transmits and receives through the communication lines with the base station(110). The Ethernet(52) provides communication lines within the LAN(500) using a bus architecture. The hubs(501-503) connect multimedia equipments.
