PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To radiate the heat of the movable element of a linear motor which is a heat generating source of the linear motor, and to suppress its temperature rise. SOLUTION: Structure of the movable element 48 of the linear motor 14 is as follows. Namely, the movable element 48 is formed, by winding an exciting coil 20 on an iron core 18 through which a shaft 17 being a radiating member, having a superior thermal conductivity, such as aluminum, etc., penetrates for example at the center, and performing molding with synthetic resin material excluding a part of the shaft 17. Radiating fins 19 for making radiation area wider are formed in one end part of the shaft 17. These radiating fins 19 are arranged, so as to face an air outlet 67. By adopting this constitution, heat transmitted to the iron core 18 from the exciting coil 20 is transmitted to the shaft 17 and radiated by the radiating fins 19, even if the excitation coil 20 generates heat, and a temperature rise is suppressed. Heat in a part of the iron core 18 on a side opposite to the radiating fins 19 is also transmitted to the radiating fins 19 via the shaft 7, and the temperature rise of the whole of the movable element 48 can be suppressed. |
