PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television broadcast receiver that fuses data broadcast and internet information and can receive many information items, by supplementing limited information amount of the data broadcast with the internet. SOLUTION: This invention provides the television broadcast receiver, that receives a digital television broadcast and reproduces its video image and data broadcast contents. The television broadcast receiver displays an image for enabling a user to select from among the choices on the basis of the received data contents. Using an internet address, included corresponding to the choice selected by the received data broadcast contents, automatically accesses the internet, to acquire information when a choice is selected from the displayed image.
