摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case which is excellent in buffering an impact to a magnetic disk device or the like as a replaceable recording medium, and can be designed small and light-weighted, and is easily mounted/dismounted on/from external equipment. SOLUTION: The housing case 4a for housing the magnetic disk device 1 is comprised of a case base 5a and a case cover 6a. Attitude control pins 7a-7e (projecting parts) with which the magnetic disk device 1 comes into contact at the time of receiving an impact are formed on the inner wall of the case base 5a, and supporting triangle poles 8a, 8b which are in contact with the chamfered parts of the magnetic disk device 1 and support it are formed at the corner parts on the inner wall. Supporting triangle poles are formed also on the inner wall of the case cover 6a. In the case of a collision, an impacted face of the housing case 4a is formed into a downward-convex curved surface centering the attitude control pins, and the magnetic disk device 1 oscillates with the housing case 4a and thereby dissipates the impact energy.
