PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply receive and deliver image data from and to an external equipment and to assure good antenna characteristics without being affected by an influence of a human body or a metal section in a camera body. SOLUTION: A camera 1 comprises a strobe unit 20 mounted openably and closably in a vertical direction at an upper part of a housing 10 of a camera body 1a to record photographed image as digital data. The camera 1 further comprises a radio communication unit for transmitting image data to the external equipment by utilizing a radio wave, and a planar antenna 30 for transmitting and receiving the radio wave of the communication unit to the equipment. In this case, the antenna 30 is provided at the unit 20.
