PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver capable of displaying a balanced screen image by appropriately correcting a pin cushion distortion unbalanced in left and right directions. SOLUTION: When a horizontal deflecting current flowing in a S-shaped correction capacitor C3 is large, a voltage discharged from the S-shaped correction capacitor C3 is increased, and a FETTR 12 is turned on based on the voltage. In order to flow a part of the horizontal deflecting current via a drain and source of a FETTR 2, an amplitude at an upper end of the horizontal deflecting current is lowered. Thus, a pin cushion in which a distortion is large at corners of left and right sides can be corrected. |
