PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically switch incoming call ringer signal to a vibrator or a small sound volume or the like without depending on a key operation by only holding up a portable communication terminal. SOLUTION: A control circuit 2 confirms the output of a contact sensor 3 at the time of receiving incoming call information from a portable telephone circuit 1, and in the case that the output is OFF, switches a switching circuit 4 to a ringer circuit 5 so as to report an incoming call with large sound volume determined by a setting value, rings a ringer by a sounding body 7 and notifies the incoming cell to a user. In the meantime, the control circuit 2 waits for the output from the contact sensor 3 to be ON and performs the output to the ringer circuit 5 with silence or the small sound volume according to the setting at the point of time at which the output becomes ON and thus, the ringer is stopped or turned to the small sound volume in the sounding body 7.
