PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability. SOLUTION: The portable communication unit (1) of radio communication system comprises a means (4) for displaying information, and a scroll means (2) disposed at a lower part of the display means (4) and scrolling menu or other information displayed on the display means (4). In the edition mode of the portable communication unit (1), an option displayed on the display means (4) is executed when the scroll means (2) operates. Three selectable options (A, B, C) are displayed on the display means (4) and assigned to three different parts (6, 7, 8) of the scroll means (2). Displayed options (A, B, C) are executed, respectively, when the central part (6) and the left and right end parts (7, 8) of the scroll means (2) operate.
