摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal processing system for an image intensifier tube, that can correctly recognize an object of low luminance and that can avoid generation of, blooming due to an object of high luminance. SOLUTION: A control section 11 gives a control signal to a pulse width control section 8 for controlling an MCP(microchannel plate) control section 6a of an MCP in an image intensifier tube IIT2, thereby changing the image sensing sensitivity, based on pulse widths narrowed or widened by the pulse-width control section 8. Then the IIT 2 outputs image data to a changeover device 12 via a synchronizing signal removing section 9 and an analog/digital converter section 10, and the control section 11 allows image memories A13, A14 to selectively store the image data. A control section 15 allows comparators 25, 35 and changeover devices 27, 37 to read the image data. The control section 15 discriminates whether the image data are to be outputted to an adder 41, based on the result of comparison by the comparators 25, 35 respectively performed with values fed from comparison value setting devices 26, 36, an adder 41 gives the image data via a digital/analog converter section 42 to a synchronizing signal addition section 44 which adds a signal fed from a synchronizing signal generating section 43 to the image data, to generate an image signal output.
