The coupling piece (1) has a projection (3) at one end which fits into a pocket (16) provided by the coin-operated lock (15), fitted to the handle (12,13) of the trolley (9) and which has a security device (5) for preventing its removal from the lock. The opposite end of the coupling piece has a fixing section (7) for securing it to a vertical upright (11) for supporting the handle, positioned at the rear of the trolley.
