<p>A method for detecting moving objects in real time is provided for a camera moved in pan/tilt. According to the method for detecting the moving objects, in case of recognizing a camera pan/tilt, the method does not detect a moving in the total area of image, but detects the moving in each line. Then, the method detects an edge of the image, calculates coordinates of the moving objects, and thus reduces a quantity of calculation as well as enhances a moving detection speed. Als, since the method uses the edge part of the image without using the total area of the image, a moving object can be accurately detected.</p> |
