A hand dryer capable of detaching a water receiver from a body case in the installed state of the body case, comprising the body case having an air blow means therein and an air blow nozzle at the lower surface thereof and the water receiver disposed under the body case and forming a hand insert space in the space thereof from the body case, the water receiver further comprising a receive part for covering the lower front surface thereof, a rear part connected to the receive part and covering the wall surface side thereof, and a pair of side surface parts connected to the receive part and forming rises from both sides of the rear surface parts, wherein a water receive side locking part is provided on the upper parts of the side surface parts, a body case side locking part is provided on both sides of the body case, and the water receiver is installed on the body case by the water receive locking parts and body case side locking parts, whereby, when a user holds the side surface parts of both side parts of the water receiver and sets the water receive side locking part to the body case side lock parts, the water receive side locking parts are hooked to the body case side locking parts so as to fix the water receiver.
