<p>The invention concerns a method for attenuating echo implemented in a multisensor (11m) sound pick-up device (8) forming an antenna (10) and a sound reproduction device (12). The method consists in subjecting the signals ym(t) outputted by the sensors (11m) to complex weighting coefficients w(f), said weighting coefficients w(f) being calculated by maximising under constraints at low frequencies and in near field of the directivity factor Ffd (f). The invention further concerns a device (6) for reducing echo.
