The invention concerns a working vessel for an electrical household food processor, comprising a bowl (27) at the base of which is provided an opening (9) closed at least partly by a ring-shaped component (11), an annular gasket (12) being mounted between said ring-shaped component (11) and said bowl (27), a sealed drive shaft (6) being mounted in a passage (16) of said ring-shaped component, the sealed rotary drive shaft (6) comprising a transmission part (7) bearing a rotating gasket (10) urged to be pressed on an upper sliding surface (11a) of the ring-shaped component (11) perpendicular to the opening (9), the sealed rotary drive shaft (6) including locking means (8) associated with the transmission part (7) and capable of being urged to press against the outer surface of the base of the bowl (27) and/or of the ring-shaped component (11) under the effect of the rotating gasket (10).
