<p>A tamper-evident structure (58) for use in a resealable dispensing closure system (20) includes a lid (60) and a flexible, frangible tamper-evident member (80) extending from the lid (60) to a drop ring (90). The drop ring (90) is adapted to engage a bottom end of a closure body (30) in the closure system (20). Preferably, the lid (60), frangible tamper-evident member (80), and drop ring (90) are provided as a unitary, integrally molded structure. In a preferred embodiment, the closure body (30) can also be molded as a unitary part of the structure.</p> |
