he up-to-date diets, used for producing rotifers and artemia, are subjected to the following pre-treatment. Before feeding, the food must be shaken into a mixer so that the so-produced separate particles, having the size of a few microns, can be uniformly dispersed into water. Non-respect of this process can affect the quality and the survival of said organisms; for this reason, we created a new liquid food (aqueous oil emulsion) able to be directly emptied into cisterns. The invented method produces enriched prey organisms (rotifers and artemia) of constant quality, and simplifies the production process of these last. |
