W/O emulsions are characterized by: (a) having an aqueous phase content of /- 80 wt.% and a lipid, emulsifier and lipophile content of <= 20 wt.%, both based on total wt.; (b) containing an alkylmethicone- and/or alkyldimethicone-copolyol surfactant; and (c) containing nonionic polymer(s), with the wt. ratio of (b) to lipid components being 0.05-0.3, especially 0.06-0.14.
