New N-alkoxyalkyl-benzimidazole derivatives useful in veterinary medicine for the control of parasitic protozoa

N-Alkoxyalkyl-benzimidazole derivatives are new. The N-alkoxyalkyl-benzimidazole derivatives are compounds of formula (I): R<1> = fluoroalkyl; R<2> = H or alkyl; R<3> = alkyl; X<1> = CF3; X<2> = OCF3. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparation of compounds (I); and (2) an composition containing compound(s) (I) and optionally a polyether antibiotic or a synthetic anticoccidial agent.
