Ring jet, has inner plates with the filter assembly which expand against the housing under operating temperatures to give a self-sealing action. The ring jet, has a filter assembly without a sealing mounting in the concentric and corrugated zone between the plates. The peaks and valleys of the corrugations are in increasingly narrower intervals, irregularly, outwards towards the spinning capillary drillings (8) in the spinneret plate. The filter assembly has three filter disks, layered so that the filter which defines the fineness is in the center. The spinneret and center perforated plates, within the assembly, are of austenitic steel e.g. 1.4301, 1.4541, 1.4580, or a material with a similarly high thermal coefficient of expansion against the housing. The housing material has a lower thermal coefficient of expansion e.g. 1.4057 or a similar chrome steel or heat-resistant material. The component dimensions are set so that the fit between the outer diameters of the inner parts and the wall of the surrounding housing gives a slight play at normal ambient temperatures. Under operating temperature levels, the inner components expand to give a radial self-sealing action.
