The invention relates to a coupling system for the teeth of an excavator, more specifically, a tooth from which two rectilinear lugs extend in axial direction. Said lugs are substantially parallel to one another and overhanging from the mouth of a central location. The lugs complement two open, rectilinear grooves that are provided, also in rectilinear direction, in a tooth holding element. The straight section of one of the rectilinear lugs of the tooth element, one part of which is concave and substantially complementary to the convex profile of the bottom of the rectilinear grooves of the tooth holding element, has two end segments that are convergently joined in an intermediate segment that differs from the other segments and inciding therein at an angle of approximately 10° to 40°.
|
