The conveyor has a rail with continuous chain, conveyor units, a stop wedge with angled stop face at the back, and a stop part with stop bracket at the front of each unit. Each stop face (11) has a holder recess (16) in its upper section in stop direction. When a following conveyor unit (6) has moved into uncoupling position, its stop bracket (18) engages detachably into the recess, until the connection is released by coupling the forward conveyor unit to the conveyor chain (4), to separate the conveyor unit. |
