COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A color cathode ray tube and a fabricating method thereof are provided to shield external magnetic field such as terrestrial magnetism by installing a shielding layer on an inner face of a funnel. CONSTITUTION: A phosphor layer(51) is formed on an inner face of a panel(50). A shadow mask frame assembly(60) is fixed on the inside of the panel(50). The shadow mask frame assembly(60) is formed by combining a shadow mask(61) and a frame(62). A funnel(70) is sealed to the panel(50). An inner conductive layer(71) is formed on an inner face of the funnel(70). An electron gun(73) is sealed to a neck portion(72). A deflection yoke(80) is mounted at a cone portion of the funnel(70) in order to electron beams emitted from the electron gun(73) to deflect the electron beams to each phosphor layer. A shielding layer(100) is formed between the funnel(70) and the inner conductive layer(71).
