PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and an image forming device which can suppress deformation such as warpage in a portion surrounding the peripheral surface of the developer carrier of a development container, and can refill toner uniformly over the whole area of the developer carrier, while realizing facility in the case of molding the development container, and an inexpensive cost. SOLUTION: The developing device is provided with a casing 12 consisting of a resin material, a developing sleeve 14 the part of which is exposed from the opening part of the casing 12, which has a magnet roller 15 within and carries and transports a two-component developer 13, a doctor 16 which controls the thickness of a developer 13 carried by the developing sleeve 14, and a toner hopper 19 which has a toner supplement part 19a which houses toner in the inside and faces the developing sleeve 14 at the upstream side in a developer transportation direction from the doctor 16. A sheet metal member 24 is provided under the surface of a region 12b at the opening part side of the casing 12, formed at the upstream side in the developer transportation direction from a toner supplement part 19a so as to surround the peripheral surface of the developing sleeve 14. Thereby, the deformation such as warpage in the region 12b at the side of the opening part of the casing 12 is suppressed. |
