PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly lift up and down a loading basket by an operation from the outside of a shielding shell. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a dissolver 3 with an upper end opened and closed by a lid body 11 and capable of holding air-tightness by closing the lid body 11, an operation rod 21 penetrated through the lid body 11, the loading basket 4 suspended inside the dissolver 3 by the rod 21 to dissolve a spent fuel by storing a fuel pin 19 in its inside to be immersed into a dissolving liquid 5. In the equipment, an air cylinder 36 is fixed vertically on the upper face of the lid body 11 to connect a piston rod of the air cylinder 36 to an upper end of the operation rod 21, end parts of air pipings 39, 40 for expansion and contraction operations connected to the air cylinder 36 are led out toward an outside of the shielding shell 2, and the end parts of the air pipings 39, 40 are connected to an expansion and contraction controller 41 for controlling expansion and contraction of the air cylinder 36.
