PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roll whose core metallic member is plated so as not to cause adhesion defects between a rubber layer and the core metallic member or vulcanization hindrance of the rubber and so as not to cause an increase in cost. SOLUTION: After plating external and internal peripheries of a steel pipe part 3 as well as the external periphery on the steel shaft part 4, a rubber elastic layer 5 is provided on the external periphery of the core metallic member 2 obtained by resistive welding of the shaft part 4 on both ends of the pipe part 3. |
