PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-fiber tearing tool for an optical fiber cord capable of controlling contamination and deformation of an optical fiber, disorder of a torn cross section shape or the like when a multiple optical fiber cord is divided into individual optical fiber cords in the joined part. SOLUTION: The tearing tool is provided with a cutting means 20 which tears the joined part 2 of the optical fiber cord while holding the joined part 2 of the optical fiber cord, and an optical fiber cord supporting part 30. First guide-in means 41 and 42 which guide the optical fiber cord 1 and are composed of at least a pair of a movable side and a fixed side and first guide-out means 51 and 52 which guide the torn optical fiber cord 1 out of a cutting space and are composed of at least a pair of a movable side and a fixed side are provided in the cutting space positioned between the cutting means 20 and the optical fiber cord supporting part 30.
