PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a moving part of a lever or a spring part of a Roberval mechanism during transportation. SOLUTION: This electronic force balance 1 is equipped with the Roberval mechanism 2 having a pair of Roberval parts 18 having the specified length between a fixed part 12 and a moving part 14 through a thin spring part 20; and a lever 4 whose free end 4b is displaced in the specified amount from a balanced state by linkage with movement of the moving part 14, and has a locking mechanism comprising a pin member 46 extending from the free end 4b of the lever 4; a regulating plate 48 having an insertion hole 48a for inserting the pin member 46; and a spring member 50 pressing the pin member 46 against the insertion hole 48a installed in the regulating plate 48 for holding. Therefore, the displacing movement of the free end 4b of the lever 4 is suppressed, and since the lever 4 is braked and the Roberval mechanism 2 is also braked through the lever 4, the lever 4 and the Roberval mechanism 2 are not moved when the electronic force balance is transported, and the moving portion containing a fulcrum of the lever 4 and the spring part 40 of the Roberval mechanism 2 can be protected.
