<p>Wood chips, sawdust, &c. are soaked, e.g. for two days, in a solution of soda, caustic soda and Van Dyke Brown, and used with cement or cement and sand for making concrete. The solution may also be used with the gauging water. A dispersing agent, e.g. sweet spirits of nitre, may be included in the solution.</p> |
