<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a break opening part reinforcing device in an air bag device for a front passenger's seat with high safety and pressure resistance by disposing a break opening part reinforcing frame fixed to a rear face of an interior cover on a rear face of an outer peripheral edge of the break open part provided on the interior cover, integrally fixing a reinforcing plate material and an air bag case to the reinforcing frame and improving strength of the break surface and the peripheral edge part of the break open part. SOLUTION: The break opening part reinforcing frame 50 having almost the same opening as opening of the break open part 30 on an upper surface is disposed on an outer peripheral edge rear face of the break open part 30 of the interior cover 3. Each engagement hole 52 is provided at horizontal base end parts 50e and 50f of front and rear side walls 50c and 50d (longitudinal direction) of the reinforcing frame 50. Mounting parts 50g and 50h are formed by bending extended end parts of the horizontal base end parts 50e and 50f and are fixed to boss parts 60 and 61 provided projectingly on a rear face of the interior cover 3 together with a mounting part 37 of a reinforcing plate material 33. The engagement holes 52 formed at the horizontal base end parts 50e and 50f of the reinforcing frame 50, the reinforcing plate material 33 for welding a horizontal main body part 33a on the rear face of the break open part and each of connecting parts 35 and 5b each formed on the air bag case 5 are integrally fixed.</p> |
