PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a lock-up clutch capable of eliminating a trouble by a dead zone of the lock-up clutch and performing an accurate slip control. SOLUTION: This control device for the lock-up clutch is provided with the lock-up clutch which is provided in parallel with a torque converter for performing power transmission between a pump impeller and a turbine impeller and operates so that slip amount of the pump impeller and the turbine impeller may be controlled according to supplied fluid pressure, a prescribed slip amount arithmetic means for calculating prescribed slip amount from a traveling state of a vehicle, an actual slip amount detection means for detecting actual slip amount from a difference of rotational speed of the pump impeller and the turbine impeller, a target slip amount setting means for setting target slip amount between prescribed slip amount and the actual slip amount, a target slip update means for updating the target slip amount to a value approached to the prescribed slip amount when the actual slip amount reaches the target slip amount and a fluid pressure control means for controlling fluid pressure supplied to the lock-up clutch so that the actual slip amount may be the target slip amount. |
