PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which formed so that an article cost and an assembly cost are low and chamber capacity can be widened. SOLUTION: In a refrigerator so formed that a compressor and a condenser, of which a refrigerant circuit is constituted, are situated in a machine room below a heat insulation box body, an evaporation pan making contact with the condenser is situated at the upper part of the condenser and the evaporation pan forms a stationary type. Thereby, a rail structure for drawing out the evaporation pan will not be needed and a part cost and an assembly cost can be reduced. Also, since the evaporation pan is of a stationary type and will not need the rail structure, the evaporation pan can be fixed in close vicinity to the lower part of a heat insulating box body and wide chamber capacity can be provided.
