PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially correct the cycle of timing pulses into a desired ratio of an integral number-to-integral number by automatically correcting deviation even though the cycle of a plurality of kinds of timing pulses generated by a timer device is deviated subtly from the desired relation of the integral number-to-integral number. SOLUTION: This timer device is provided with a count value correcting part 13 and an interrupt generating part 11 for applying an HD interrupt to the part 13 each time a pulse for an HD is outputted. The part 13 preliminarily stores correction timing and a correction value corresponding to a designated printing density and acquires the correction timing and the correction value corresponding to the designated printing density. The part 13 counts the number of times whenever the part 13 receives an HD interrupt, and corrects the count value of the counter 5a for HD according to the correction value corresponding to the correction timing when the number of receiving times reaches the acquired correction timing.
