摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of rock around the storage tank of hot water storage facilities in the rock. SOLUTION: Internal pressure on a storage tank is maintained at a given pressure by effecting such circulation that a part of steam S generated from hot water is pressurized and returned in the storage tank when not water 4 from the storage tank 1 is discharged. In case of hot water being stored in the storage tank, steam is pressurized and injected with a pressure in hot water in the storage tank and steam is extracted from the storage tank and pressurized and returned to the storage tank to effect circulation through which a pressure is controlled. Rock hot water storage facility comprises a compressor 2 to pressurize and inject steam in hot water in the storage tank; a first circulation route R1 where steam in the storage tank is pressurized by the compressor and returned to the storage tank; a steam generator 7 to take out hot water from the storage tank to generate steam; and a second circulation route R2 where a part of steam from the steam generator is pressurized by the compressor and returned to the storage tank.
