PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide plate which contains essential functions and material constitutions such as stiffness, frictional wear characteristics, service life, effectively suppresses the increase of clearance with a structure in the other side by the thermal expansion in sliding heat generation, and has high abrasion resistance and oxidation resistance. SOLUTION: A solid lubricating material 17 is impregnated or embedded in a recessed part on the slide guide surface of the composite slide plate constituted by a combination of a slide plate and a backup plate, at least one surfaces of which are a slide guide surface.
