STRUCTURE OF AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR UNDERGROUND CAVITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of and a construction method for an underground cavity that can ensure sufficient and reliable reinforcement or water sealing even if a spiral tunnel has a wide interval. SOLUTION: A cavity is constructed in the ground. A spiral tunnel is constructed about the underground cavity in an encircling relation thereto. A connecting hole is constructed from one position of the spiral tunnel to another. A reinforcement or sealant is placed into the ground from the connecting hole. The cavity is alternatively constructed after the reinforcement or sealant is placed from the connecting hole. Both are alternatively constructed simultaneously.
