Method involves contact of gaseous mixture containing carbon oxides and hydrogen with copper-containing catalyst at 190-290 C, under pressure 5.0-10.0 MPa and volume rate 4 500-100 000 ch-1. The parent gaseous mixture containing 1.0-33.7 vol.% of carbon oxide, 0.3-22.5 vol.% of carbon dioxide in volume ratio of hydrogen to sum of carbon oxides = 1.91-5.60 and 0.5-50.0 vol.% of nitrogen also is passed through cascade of flow-type reactors for a single stage.
