PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low viscosity lubricating oil which can meet the heavy duty diesel standards. SOLUTION: The low viscosity lubricating oil composition has a specified CCS viscosity and a specified sulfated ash value, and comprises a mixture of (a) a dispersing agent, (b) a calcium element, a magnesium element or both to be derived from at least one cleaning agent, (c) phosphorus, (d) an antioxidant, (e) a pour point depressant, (f) a viscosity improver, and (g) a lubricating oil base stock at specified amounts and has a base blend viscosity at 100 deg.C of the blend or the composition which is obtained by blending all components each to be selected from components (a) to (g) and shows a Newtonian viscosity behavior being at least 8.2 mm2s-1. |
