PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door check device easy to be assembled. SOLUTION: A groove 101a having a U-shaped section is provided along the longitudinal direction of an arm 101. A first and second holding means 111, 113 are respectively provided with a ball 131 rolling in the groove 101a and having a shaft 131a on both sides thereof, an abutting part where a first and second coil springs (energizing member) 115, 117 abut, and a shoe 133 having a side 133c bent from both sides of the abutting part 133a, and having a groove 133b where the shafts 131a of the ball 131 are engaged to rotatably support the ball 131.
