PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and stably convey a vehicle in the longitudinal and lateral two directions with a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: This vehicle conveying device 10 comprises plural roller conveyor 12 mounted at predetermined intervals for conveying a vehicle 2 in its advancing direction, plural chain conveyors 14 mounted projectably and retractably from the intervals, conveying the vehicle 2 in the car width direction in a projecting state shown in Fig. 3 (b), and mounted only in the neighborhood of a lower part of a front wheel position and a lower part of a rear wheel position, and an elevator device for allowing the chain conveyors 14 to be projected in conveying the vehicle 2 in the width direction, and allowing the chain conveyor 14 to be retracted to obtain a state of Fig. 3 (a) in completing the conveying in the width direction. As the chain conveyors 14 are projected from the intervals, the vehicle can be conveyed in two directions with a simple mechanism without taking space.
