PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proper size of easy-to-operate water faucet allowing a branch port and a discharge port to be rotated and capable of opening and closing these ports by rotating. SOLUTION: This water faucet comprises a tubular water faucet body 2 having a communication hole 2c providing in a peripheral wall in an area ranging from the front to the right side, a tubular body 3 with a branch port 4 fitted rotatably on the water faucet body 2 so as to cover the communication hole 2c, a valve stem 5 disposed across the inside of the water faucet body 2 and the inside of the branch port 4 and having two upper and lower vertical shaft parts 51 at the water faucet body 2 side end part, a valve element 6 installed on the branch port side end part of the valve stem 5, a valve seat 7 provided in the branch port 4, a cam hole 81 for opening and closing the branch port fixedly disposed in the water faucet body 2 so as to hold the water faucet body side end part of the valve stem 5 from upper and lower sides and allowing a vertical shaft part 51 to be inserted therein, and a pair of valve stem support members 8A and 8B having a vertical through-hole 82 for water circulation. The branch port 4 is opened when faced forward and closed when faced rightward. |
