PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide sensor, in which a drive has a circuit of simple configuration and which is small and low-cost. SOLUTION: In the carbon dioxide sensor, a detection electrode 3 and a counter electrode 6 are installed respectively so as to come into contact with a solid electrolyte 2, the solid electrolyte 2 contains alkaline metal ions and/or an alkaline-earth metal ion electric conductor, and the detecting electrode 3 is provided with a metal oxide layer 4 and a collector 5. The carbon dioxide sensor is configured, having a heater 7 used for heating the sensor and with the heater 7 being a PTC thermistor. |
